Move to DEN

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Move to DEN (“we”, “us”) helps households plan a move to the Denver metro. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to reach us. Contact: invites@movetoden.com.

Information we collect

  • Account. Email address and session data when you sign in with a magic link (Supabase Auth).
  • Profile. Display name and avatar (“peep”) you set in Household.
  • Workspace data. Houses, areas, places, rankings, must-haves, chat messages, move-plan items, and notification preferences you create or sync with a household.
  • Invites and email. Invitee email addresses you provide, plus optional daily digest emails of unread household activity (Resend).
  • Payments. If you unlock shared search, Stripe processes the one-time payment. We store Stripe customer/payment references needed to unlock your household; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Maps and places. Addresses and place lookups you enter may be sent to Google Maps / Places to show maps, routes, and place details.
  • Device storage. The app uses browser local storage and similar mechanisms for session, preferences, and workspace caching.

How we use information

  • Provide sign-in, sync, household invites, chat, and notifications
  • Process the optional one-time household unlock
  • Show maps, commute times, and place details you request
  • Understand aggregate product usage (Plausible Analytics — no advertising cookies)
  • Diagnose errors and improve reliability (Sentry)
  • Respond to support requests you send us

Analytics and error reporting

We use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly pageviews and a few product goals (for example, landing CTAs and checkout start). Plausible is designed not to use cookies for tracking across sites.

We use Sentry to capture application errors so we can fix bugs. Error reports may include technical details such as browser type, URL path, and stack traces. We aim not to send passwords or magic-link tokens in reports.

Sharing

We share data with service providers that help us run the product:

  • Supabase (auth, database, realtime sync, edge functions)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Resend (transactional email)
  • Google (Maps / Places / Routes)
  • Plausible (analytics)
  • Sentry (error monitoring)
  • Netlify (hosting)

Household members you invite can see shared workspace content for that household. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep account and household data while your account or household is active. You can leave a household or stop using the product; contact us if you need help deleting account-associated data.

Children

Move to DEN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
