Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Move to DEN at movetoden.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Contact: invites@movetoden.com.

The Service

Move to DEN is a web app for researching a move to the Denver metropolitan area. You can compare houses, rank neighborhoods, save places, and (with a household unlock) invite others to share lists, chat, and notifications.

Solo research is free. Shared household features require a one-time unlock payment (currently $29 USD unless we state otherwise on the site). There is no subscription.

Accounts

You sign in with an email magic link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to that email secure. Provide accurate information when inviting others to a household.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to break into, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service
• Misrepresent your identity when inviting others or contacting support
• Upload content you do not have the right to share

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

Payments, unlock, and refunds

Household unlock is a one-time payment processed by Stripe. Payment unlocks shared search for that household (invites, shared lists, chat, and related notifications) as described in the product.

Refunds / support. Because unlock is a digital one-time purchase, refunds are handled case by case. If checkout failed, you were charged in error, or shared search did not unlock after payment, email invites@movetoden.com with your account email and approximate purchase time. We will help resolve unlock issues and consider reasonable refund requests.

Third-party services

The Service relies on providers including Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Google Maps / Places, Plausible, Sentry, and Netlify. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the portions of the experience they power. Map and place data may be incomplete or change over time; use it as a research aid, not as legal, financial, or safety advice.

Content and research data

You retain rights to content you submit (notes, rankings, chat, custom areas, and similar). You grant us a limited license to host, sync, and display that content as needed to operate the Service for you and your household members. Housing market figures and area summaries are informational estimates, not guarantees.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy of maps, listings, market data, or AI-generated area blurbs, or fitness for a particular move decision. Moving and housing choices carry risk; verify important facts independently.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Move to DEN and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or housing opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for household unlock in the twelve months before the claim or (b) twenty-nine US dollars ($29).

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and use personal information.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
